Professionals seeking community involvement will come together for Pro Bono Day in New York City this Wednesday, October 23rd. In this daylong series of workshops and networking events, participants will celebrate the city’s growing pro-bono movement, helping to build connections between their professional skills and areas of community need.
Pro Bono Day will kick off with the Pro Bono Lab, a problem solving event led by Taproot Foundation pro bono consultants. The afternoon will include discussions on the roles of design and technology in pro bono service, as well as a panel on corporate pro bono activity.
Pro Bono Day will be held at the Centre for Social Innovation in Chelsea from 2PM-8PM, admission is free. The event is hosted by the Centre for Social Innovation, Taproot Foundation, and desigNYC, and is supported in part by the Citi Foundation. For more information, please visit ProBonoDayNYC.org.
